1. Information We Collect

When you use Pathwise, we collect information you provide directly: your email address for authentication, academic history (courses, grades, AP credits) you enter, and your transfer planning preferences (target university, major, schedule preferences).

We also automatically collect basic usage data such as pages visited and features used to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide personalized transfer planning and schedule optimization, maintain your account and saved plans, process payments via Stripe (we never store your card details), and improve our service.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your payment card information.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Google Gemini (AI-powered analysis), and RateMyProfessors (professor ratings, publicly available data).

5. Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Settings page. You can export your plan data. You can contact us to request a full data deletion.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
